Bears soccer, Week 2 & 3

Gm3: 1/23: The first week we’ve had all 10 players at the game. We did our best job keeping our hands off the ball & almost everybody did a good job turning the ball around into the correct. As a team we’ve grown already since our first game. Goals scored by multiple players this week & a couple others came really close to scoring. Superstar of the game went to Noble for keeping the ball going in the correct direction & getting on the score board for the first time. Super 6-3 win over the Grinches. Let’s keep getting better & have fun.

*********************************** Gm2: 1/16: Well Jaxon came off the bench this week & Andrew made it to his first game. Andrew had a little rough start but by the end of the game was running & kicking with the rest of the bunch. David is always a big player but the Superstar of the game went to Samuel for stepping up & helping score a few goals this week. We worked on no hands & turning the ball around to the correct direction. 5-2 win over the Cubs. Good job Bears.

Raiders Basketball game 1/16/2010

The first basketball game of the year & we started it off on the right foot. The boys played a very good game in spite of the fact we've only had 2 practices. Several steals leading to scores helped lead us to a nice 22-17 win over the Eagles. Hustle awards for everybody. Keep up the good work.

Bears Soccer game, 1/9/10

1, 2, 3 BEARS

Well we started the season off with a big 8-0 win over the Grinches we only had seven players this week & Jaxon wouldn't come off the bench till late in the game. Super-star of the game was David with all 8 goals.

Sorry but I'm running a little behind so let me recap what's been going on since the Superbowl.

December 11-13: Phil & I entered 15 boys that have played for use over the last 6 years into an All-Star Tournament. We advanced to the 3rd round in the winner’s bracket before loosing our first game. After back-to-back losses we finished in 3rd place.

December 19-20: ABD Sr. White end of year banquet at the Great Wolf Lodge.

December 31st: Annual trip to the Armed Forces Bowl.
