Cougars Game #1, 1/17/09

With only one practice under their belt the Cougars headed onto the hardwood for game #1 against the Jaguars. Falling behind early 2-14, the Cougars had to work from behind all game. Never quitting they pulled the score to within 4 points during the final period & ended the game with a hard fought loss, 18-24.

Bears Game #2, 1/17/09

I was a little worried at the begining of game #2. We only had 6 players here at the start of the game & I was hoping none of them would decided they didn't want to play. They all started the game OK & the help showed up right after the game started so everyone would get time to rest. David ran the floor just as I expected but this week he had some help from the rest of the crew. We scored 3 goals. Great job BEARS.

Bears game # 1

Well. We ran around. Had a good time. I didn't go crazy. We're off to a good start.

2009 City of Arlington 3 & 4 year old BEARS

Jaxon has gotten tired of watching Brik play everything so we signed him up for soccer. Of course I can't help getting involved coaching my boys so I took a team of 3 & 4 year old boys & girls. This is the youngest group I've had to deal with so I was nervous that they would make me pull my hair out. So far I still have my hair. Two practices & game 1 under our belt I think we will have a lot of fun & maybe even learn a little soccer while we do it.

I would like to introduce the Bears.

Blue Devils @ the Armed Forces Bowl

We went from having about 12 people going to the game to 36 Blue Devil family & friends making the trip to TCU to watch the Air Force Falcons & the Houston Cougars play a very good game. Everybody seemed to have a good time & we hope to do it again next year.

Thanks to Coach Fagan for getting us tickets to the Armed Forces Bowl again this year.

On the car ride home from the game, most of the boys crashed out. Till they got back to my house where they all played the Wii till they got picked up.

Well its was a rough season this year but the foundation has been laid for a big run at the Superbowl in 2009. I hope to see everybody next summer.
