Well it started a little slower then we hoped for but by the second half the boys were looking like their old selves on Defense. A few opening day mistakes cost us big but I was proud of the guys for listening to what the coaches had to say at half time the holding them to just one first down for the whole 2nd half. Game one you hope to get a little easier opponent so you can fight through the learning curve. Our luck just had us going against an origination that always fields tough teams. No worries that's why we had a non-conference game this week, it doesn't count. As the defensive coordinator the guys on D drove me crazy early then made me proud late. That's the way coaching is.
